The Client
A subsidiary of the largest global supplier of merchant services. They provide a range of support services to financial institutions and blue chip companies throughout the Europe and the Middle East.
The Challenge
The client needed to improve key value streams within their business, to define the scope and key components of the transformation programme and to develop a business case for the programme implementation.
The Solution
We undertook a business transformation workshop to raise the profile of issues and identify solutions. Production planning, productivity and capacity were improved and separate production sites were combined. The purchasing process was review and improved.
We developed specific targets to drive performance and highlight production failure categories. S & OP was used to link sales with manufacturing and supplier framework agreements introduced.
Lean principles were introduced throughout the operation processes.
The Results
Increased (18%) inbound and outbound volume was achieved at a reduced cost and with improvements in customer satisfaction KPI’s. |
